    PERIODIZATION CAPITAL
    RESEARCH

    Rigorous analysis. Measured conviction.

    About

Periodization Capital Research analyzes equity markets and macroeconomic cycles through a systematic, long-term framework. We focus on identifying structural shifts before they're priced in, combining bottom-up financial modeling with top-down macro analysis.

Founded at the Stockholm School of Economics in December 2025 by Udyat Kapasi and Mathias Guerra, we've built a team of nine analysts spanning equity research and macro strategy. Our work is informed by diverse perspectives: five nationalities and multiple academic disciplines. This diversity strengthens our ability to challenge consensus views and think independently.

We publish research across public and private markets and manage an active portfolio as our live testing ground.

    Our Principles

    Principles that
    govern our work

    01

    Independent Thinking

Our conclusions derive from proprietary research, not market consensus. We build conviction through first-principles analysis, not third-party ratings.

    02

    Long-Term Orientation

We invest based on secular trends and structural shifts. One comprehensive report per period enables depth over breadth, patience over reaction.

    03

    Intellectual Honesty

We own our errors, publish our models, and actively guard against confirmation bias. Transparency of process aligns our actions with our values.

    04

    Responsible Investing

We exclusively invest in companies with strong ESG metrics and proven track records. Fundamental value guides our decisions, not speculation.
